Beta Program Terms.

These terms govern the Fuel Check beta program and the benefits offered to beta participants. They are part of, and incorporate, the Fuel Check Terms of Service.

1.The beta is free

Participation in the Fuel Check beta costs nothing. We do not collect payment information to participate.

2.No obligation to purchase

Beta participants are under no obligation to purchase a subscription or any paid product, now or in the future. We will not charge you unless you actively and affirmatively choose to subscribe to a paid plan. We do not auto-enroll beta users into paid subscriptions.

3.Loyalty credit

Your beta membership begins on the day you create your account. For each full month (measured from that date) in which your account is active, you earn one month of free service (“loyalty credit”), redeemable if and when you choose to subscribe to a paid plan after paid subscriptions launch. Your account is “active” in a given month if you run at least one fuel-price check during that month. A month in which your account is not active simply does not earn a loyalty credit for that month — it does not remove you from the beta and does not affect credits you have already earned. Loyalty credit accrues up to a maximum of twelve (12) free months.

4.Referral credit

A participant who refers a new participant who joins the beta earns one month of free service, and the referred participant also earns one month of free service, each redeemable upon subscribing to a paid plan after launch. Referral credit is subject to the same 12-month cap in Section 3.

To keep the program fair for everyone, referrals must be genuine — a referred participant must be a new user who joins on their own. Self-referrals, duplicate or fake accounts, and sign-ups created through automated or fraudulent means are not eligible. We may withhold or reverse credits we determine in good faith were earned this way, and we’ll let you know if we do.

5.Data contribution bonus

For every 25 genuine invoices you upload to Fuel Check, you earn one additional month of free service (“data bonus”), up to a maximum of three (3) data-bonus months (75 invoices total). Data-bonus months are in addition to the cap in Section 3 and are redeemable on the same terms as loyalty credit. Uploaded invoices must be genuine, legible, and not duplicates; we may decline or reverse a data bonus for invoices we determine in good faith do not meet these conditions, and we’ll let you know if we do. Invoices you upload are used as described in our Privacy Policy.

6.Credits have no cash value

Loyalty, referral, and data-bonus credits are not cash, have no cash value, are non-transferable (except that a referral credit is granted to the referred participant as described above), and can only be applied toward Fuel Check subscription fees. Unused credits expire if not redeemed within 12 months of paid subscriptions becoming available.

7.We may modify or end the program

Fuel Check may modify, suspend, or discontinue the beta program or any benefit described here at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to honor credits already earned by active participants at the time of any change.
